# Common Mixing Ratios for Two Part Systems by Volume

E-linking offers a variety of two part systems with different mixing ratios.

### One to One (1:1)

Part A= 100%

Part B= 100%

If you were ordering a pint kit, this means you would be receiving one full pint of Part A and one full pint of Part B. After mixing Part A and Part B together, you will have 2 full pints of material.

### Sizing options featuring a 1:1 mix ratio:

½ Pint Kit = 1 pint of material

Pint Kit= 2 pints of material

Quart Kit= 2 quarts of material

Gallon Kit= 2 gallons of material

5 Gallon Kit= 10 gallons of material

### Two to One (2:1)

Part A= 100%

Part B= 50%

If you were ordering a pint kit, this means you would be receiving one full pint of Part A and half a pint of Part B. After mixing Part A and Part B together, you will have 1.5 pints of material.

### Sizing options featuring a 2:1 mix ratio:

½ Pint Kit = 0.75 pint of material

Pint Kit= 1.5 pints of material

Quart Kit= 1.5 quarts of material

Gallon Kit= 1.5 gallons of material

5 Gallon Kit= 7.5 gallons of material

### Four to One (4:1)

Part A= 100%

Part B= 25%

If you were ordering a pint kit, this means you would be receiving one full pint of Part A and a quarter pint of Part B. After mixing Part A and Part B together, you will have 1.25 pints of material.

### Sizing options featuring a 4:1 mix ratio:

½ Pint Kit = 0.63 pint of material

Pint Kit= 1.25 pints of material

Quart Kit= 1.25 quarts of material

Gallon Kit= 1.25 gallons of material

5 Gallon Kit= 6.25 gallons of material

### Ten to One (10:1)

Part A= 100%

Part B= 10%

If you were ordering a pint kit, this means you would be receiving one full pint of Part A and 1/10 of a pint of Part B. After mixing Part A and Part B together, you will have 1.1 full pints of material.

### Sizing options featuring a 10:1 mix ratio:

½ Pint Kit= 0.6 pint of material

Pint Kit= 1.1 pints of material

Quart Kit= 1.1 quarts of material

Gallon Kit= 1.1 gallons of material

5 Gallon Kit= 5.5 gallons of material

### One to Four (1:4)

Part A= 25%

Part B= 100%

If you were ordering a pint kit, this means you would be receiving one full pint of Part B and a quarter pint of Part A. After mixing Part A and Part B together, you will have 1.25 pints of material.

### Sizing options featuring a 1:4 mix ratio:

½ Pint Kit = 0.63 pint of material

Pint Kit= 1.25 pints of material

Quart Kit= 1.25 quarts of material

## Mixing Ratio—Special Notice:

E-linkingrecommends all its customers to be accurate and precise in mixing (by weight or volume) the two components of a two part epoxy system. Special precautions must be taken when very small quantities of the epoxy are being mixed (like a few grams), or when mixing a system with a difficult mix ratio (like 10:1). If the two components are not mixed thoroughly, or if there is a significant error in the mix ratio, the epoxy may cure soft and not develop all the required physical properties. E-linking also recommends its customers to mix the two parts in a contamination free container for best results. It should be noted that for many two component systems involving difficult mix ratios, E-linking offers applicators (like gun kit), wherein the user does not have to worry about measuring and mixing.
